We are back in the U.S.A.
Well it is really different when I started to think about how nice it will be when I get reunited with the old gal. I mean it is a seven hour drive there with frequent stops to smoke, potty, and eat. Before I even left I had some plans to ensure the safe trip home. I had tools in the girl before she shipped. I grabbed some stuff for the road like some small parts. I never know what is going to happen when I drive the landy, and even worse, this is the longest drive I ever made with the old gal. Well after all the anticipation this is what happened. I showed up at the port nice and early. Made sure all the documents were in order, starting the procces at the port. Thirty long minutes later I was driving down the road with the steering wheel on the wrong side and people looking at me Funny. I still can not figure that part out. I filled up on gas about a mile away from the port and we grabbed something to eat. We all ate well and planned out the route we needed to get out of St Louis and in the direction of Omaha. I guess you can say the most exciting part of the drive was going down the road, self powered, at 75 MPH. Past that part we all had a few stops for  stretching food and for a couple of views around the road. I guess you could say I was in heaven. The drive back was not as long due to the less frequent stops, and the feeling of  happiness driving me to not notice what ever the time was.
